The Work
Daydream Communications, in partnership with Camelo Communication, developed Get Vaccinated CT, a public awareness campaign for six local health departments in Connecticut. The initiative aimed to provide reliable vaccine information, dispel misinformation, and connect residents with local vaccination resources. The campaign included a comprehensive website, a multilingual toolkit (English, Spanish, and Creole), a digital and outdoor advertising campaign, public relations efforts, and a strategic social media presence.

The Process
To maximize reach and engagement, we launched Get Vaccinated CT with three targeted four-week media “boosts.” Our team developed compelling and accessible campaign materials, ensuring they were culturally and linguistically inclusive. The campaign was promoted through a mix of digital, streaming, and outdoor ads, complemented by a strong social media and PR strategy.
The Results
The Get Vaccinated CT campaign successfully drove awareness and action across Connecticut. It generated over 17 million impressions over three months; 3.9 million impressions through digital, streaming, and more than 5 million impressions in outdoor ads, while the campaign website saw 10,000+ users and 20,000 page views in a single month. Google Ads played a significant role, driving 70% of web traffic. We also secured a live in-studio interview on Fox 61 for a public health expert, further reinforcing the campaign’s visibility. By combining strategic media placements, multilingual messaging, and expert-led outreach, the campaign effectively conveyed the key messages to the communities.
