The Work
The Hub, a Regional Behavioral Health Action Organization in Connecticut, partnered with Daydream Communications to develop a compelling campaign aimed at sparking conversations about mental health and reducing stigma. The OK to Talk About It campaign featured a website, OKtoTalkAboutIt.org, designed to connect individuals with local and national mental health resources, including suicide prevention support. To maximize impact, the campaign was produced in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for underserved communities in Fairfield County, where stigma around mental health remains a significant barrier.

Visual Identity
The OK to Talk About It campaign's visual identity was designed to be approachable, inclusive, and impactful, encouraging open conversations about mental health. The logo features a speech bubble motif, symbolizing dialogue and breaking the silence around mental health struggles. The color palette blends calming blues and greens to evoke trust and support, while bold typography ensures clarity and accessibility. The bilingual campaign materials maintained a cohesive look across digital, print, and out-of-home (OOH) placements, reinforcing a strong and recognizable brand identity throughout Fairfield County.

The Process
Daydream Communications took a multi-channel approach to ensure broad reach and engagement. The campaign included a comprehensive digital and OOH (Out-of-Home) strategy, incorporating billboards, bus ads, Metro North train platform posters, social media ads, streaming audio ads, digital display ads, and ads on streaming TV. Messaging was tailored to resonate with key audiences, with a focus on underserved populations where mental health stigma is most prevalent. The website was built to be a user-friendly hub of information, guiding visitors to valuable resources and crisis support.
